Hi! I’m Eric Everett and Zowie Entertainment is pretty much me. After entertaining and teaching in the New York City area since the late 80′s, I have now moved to Asheville, NC and created AshevilleParty.com.
In 1994, when I was teaching theatre full time, I formed this company to create & distribute my music CDs. I named my company after Zowie, the family cat. With the success of my kids’ CD & Video “Animal Party” in 2000, I turned my attention full-time to bringing music & laughter to a wider audience with event entertainment and decor / set design.
Fortified with 20+ years teaching experience in grades K-12 and even more working in Arts and Entertainment, I feel like I have ooodles of experience to draw upon. I’m told that being from Wisconsin gives me a basis for trustworthiness and integrity too I guess that means I stand by my work and will always give you a good show!
I also am covered by Liability Insurance so there’s no need to worry about the “what if’s”. I have even prevented problems from happening (read more HERE).
There are 2 big advantages to working with my one-man show: 1) I can provide many combinations of entertainment and help with putting on your event which makes life easier and saves you time and money! 2) The person you talk to on the phone is the same one who will be there at your event with you and knows exactly what you are looking for.
From working with many entertainers, technicians and entertainment companies, I have a large network to draw upon for the needs of larger events to bring together just about anything you need.
I’m here to help you with everything from planning & ideas to setting up the party. Everything from the age-appropriate content of the entertainment to the attention to technical detail (have you made rain plans? got enough power?) is all considered. For ANY size event, there are LOTS of potential details, but you don’t have to worry about them, that’s why I’m here.
Please let me know if there are any questions about anything or if you’d just like to chat about an idea.
I love ideas!
